Arrive Hyderabad

Arrive Hyderabad. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for two nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your flight or start exploring the city.

day 02
Hyderabad

Your sightseeing tour starts today at the Charminar monument which is surrounded by the bustling and vibrant Lad bazaar. Also visit the Salar Jung Museum which houses an extensive art collection. The impressive Golconda Fort is a great way to round off the day.

day 03
Hyderabad - Gulbarga

Drive to Bidar to see the ruins of the once mighty Bahmani Kingdom. Following this continue on to Gulbarga for a night at your hotel.

day 04
Gulbarga - Bijapur

The morning is set aside to explore the fort and the tombs of the Bahmani kings. Drive on this afternoon to Bijapur, through rural India to Bijapur, where you'll stay for the night.

Bijapur - Badami

Visit Gol Gumbaz and the magnificent tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah. Drive on to Badami and check into your hotel for two nights.

day 06
Badami

Visit Aihole, an impressive rock carving site. Particularly impressive is the 5th century AD Lad Khan temple and Pattadakal, which consists of temples from the northern Nagara and southern Dravida schools. Later visit Badami including cave temples from the 6th and 7th century AD and the famous Malegitti Shivalaya temple.

Badami - Hospet (Hampi)

Drive on to the town of Hospet and stay at your hotel for 02 nights.

Hospet (Hampi)

Visit Hampi, the city razed to the ground by the five Deccan sultans in 1565. The vast boulder strewn landscape merges with the granite hewn architectural ruins which include the Virupaksha Temple. There's time this afternoon to relax or continue exploring the area.

Hospet - Chikmagalur

As you drive this morning to Chikmagalur the landscape changes from the arid Deccan Plateau to a lush coffee country for which the region is known. Check-in to your resort for 02 nights.

CChikmagalur

Enjoy an excursion to the intricately carved Hoysala temples at Belur and Halebid today. These temples depict scenes from Hindu mythology and everyday life of the Hoysala Kingdom.

Chikmagalur - Mysore

En route to Mysore you'll visit the imposing statue of Gomateshvara at Shravanabelagola, a significant pilgrimage site for the Jain religion, and Tipu's Summer Palace at Srirangapattanam. Stay at your hotel for two nights.

day 12
Mysore

Visit the sights of Mysore today including the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill and the Nandi Bull. Round off the exploring at the colourful Devraja Market. There is the option of an excursion to Somnathpur where the third Hoysala temple is located.

day 13
Mysore - Coonoor

Today you drive to the Hill station of Ooty. Board the "toy train" for a ride to Coonoor. Crossing quaint bridges and traversing small hillside tunnels it is for some the highlight of the trip. You will be met by the driver at Coonoor Railway Station and transferred to your hotel for the night.

Coonoor – Cochin

A long day’s drive will take you to the port city of Cochin. On arrival check-in to your hotel 02 nights. In the evening you will take a sunset cruise past the island shores and you’ll doubtless see arrays of Chinese fishing nets.

day 15
Cochin

Governed by many nations over the years, Cochin has a rich multi-cultural history. Today you will visit the Jewish Synagogue, St Francis' Church and the Dutch palace which is home to murals depicting the Ramayana. In the evening you could arrive early to watch a raditional Kathakali dance performance and the preceding elaborate make-up preparation

day 16
Cochin – Kumarakom

Late morning you drive to Kumarakom, a sleepy village on the shores of Lake Vembanad and Kerala's backwater canals. Stay at the backwater resort for two nights.

day 17
Kumarakom

Today is at leisure to enjoy this relaxing hotel. There are nearby paddy fields which make for an interesting walking option or there is the chance to take a boat trip on the backwaters. (You have the option to stay overnight on air-conditioned houseboat).

day 18
Kumarakom – Mararikulam

You will be transferred by boat to Alleppey. You will be met by the driver and proceed to Mararikulam. It’s then a short 45 mins drive northwards to reach to Marari, a relatively quiet beach paradise of Kerala. For the next two nights you stay at the Beach Resort.

day 19
Mararikulam

Full day at leisure to relax by the beach or to experience some authentic ayurvedic therapies at the resorts Ayurveda Spa.

day 20
Mararikulam – Cochin

In goodtime you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport to connect your flight home.
